Rolls-Royce Phantom snow drifting

The Rolls-Royce Phantom isn't considered a sports car, but similar to the Maybach it is a full sized luxury vehicle with a sports car spirit. Even though it is huge and heavy as a battle cruiser, it can still hang in with most modern sports cars. Sure a Ferrari or Lamborghini will out run the Phantom, but surprisingly not by much. Making use of this sports car spirit, the Rolls-Royce Phantom was recently used for snow drifting. One quick lap around the snowy track, and we get to see $400,000 sliding sideways blasting through snow drifts. Wicked awesome!

The Rolls-Royce Phantom features a massive 6.7 liter V12 gas engine that generates 453 horsepower at 5,350 RPM and 531 foot pounds of torque at only 3,500 RPM. With that massive amount of instant torque complimented by top end horsepower, the Phantom has plenty of power to drift. A rear wheel drive and automatic six speed transmission give it plenty of gearing to choose from to let the back end slide out.

Many don't consider the 5,600 pound luxury sedan an ideal drifting vehicle, but it is possible. Even without the aid of snow, it would still be possible to drift a Rolls-Royce Phantom on pavement but much more dangerous. Consider this following video a very unique opportunity to see someone with healthy means sharing his love of drifting. Thank you Mr. random Phantom owner!
