The Rolling Stones have issued a new video extending happy holidays greetings to their fans throughout the world.

Posted to the legendary British rockers' official Facebook page on Dec. 23, the clip features Stones co-founding members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards thanking fans and wishing everyone a happy holiday and wonderful new year.

The 40-second clip opens with the "Satisfaction" hitmakers' familiar lips and tongue logo emblazoned with the words "Seasons Greetings," accompanied by The Stones' 1973 "Goats Heads Soup" track "Winter."

Jagger and Richards shoot their portions individually with Sir Mick opening the clip, saying, "Hi everybody! 2013 has been a great year for me and I'd like to thank everyone who came to see us on the road!"

Richards, speaking from behind the same studio mixing board used to shoot his recent birthday video, says, "Happy holidays everybody! It's been a great year this year. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the next year, which I'm sure will be even better!"

Jagger closes the clip, saying, "So have a happy holiday and a wonderful new year and we'll see you soon. Bye!"

Richards turned 70-years-old on Dec. 18 and celebrated his 30th wedding anniversay on the same day.

The Stones had much to be thankful for in 2013. Their AEG Live produced 50 and Counting Tour was among the year's highest grossing, earning a Billboard Touring Award. The concert film of their 2013 Hyde Park shows, titled "Sweet Summer Fun - Hyde Park Live" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard; the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honored "The World's Greatest Rock n' Roll Band" in the fall with an all-star tribute and they earned Band of the Years honors at the 2013 Classic Rock Awards.

With the recent announcement of a 2014 Asia Pacific tour leg - dubbed "14 on Fire" - along with recent news of The Stones scoring three nominations at the 56th annual Grammy Awards, 2014 is sure to be another big year for The Rolling Stones.

Did you know? The Rolling Stones headline appearance at the world renowned Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, England on June 29, 2013 topped a new poll conducted by One Poll for U.K. music streaming service Blinkbox Music to determine the biggest music moment of 2013.
