Rolling Stones sizzle at 14 On Fire Tour opener in Abu Dhabi

The Rolling Stones rocked a packed house at their 14 On Fire Tour kick off Feb. 21 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emi at du Arena.

According to a news release posted Feb. 21 at, the legendary British rockers strutted their stuff through a 19-song setlist during their first time ever performance in the UAE.

The Stones' 1969 classic “Let It Bleed” received a good work out during the show with ex-Stone guitarist Mick Taylor performing as special guest on the 1969 “Let It Bleed” classic “Midnight Rambler," as well as set closer "Satisfaction," while local guest artists Al Khubairat Singers accompanied the band on “You Can’t Always Get What You Want" and "Gimme Shelter" was voted the UAE’s favourite Stones' song in an online poll.

The next 14 On Fire stop will begin on Feb. 26 in Tokoyo, Japan at Tokyo Dome where The Stones will play the first of three sold out shows.
