Rolling Stones reschedule '14 on Fire' concerts in Australia and New Zealand

The Rolling Stones have announced the rescheduled concerts in Australia and New Zealand for their "14 on Fire" tour. The new tour dates are from Oct. 25 to Nov. 22, 2014, and they include added concerts in the Australian cities of Perth (on Nov. 1, 2014) and Pokolbin (on Nov. 15, 2014).

As previously reported, the Rolling Stones' "14 on Fire" tour dates in Australia and New Zealand were postponed because of the death of L'Wren Scott, who was Mick Jagger's girlfriend since 2001. Scott committed suicide in her New York City apartment on March 17, 2014. She was found hanged from a doorknob.

The Rolling Stones' "14 on Fire" concerts in Australia and New Zealand were originally supposed to take place from March 19 to April 5, 2014. See the revised tour dates at the end of this article.

According to an announcement on the official Rolling Stones website:

Ticket holders who are able to attend the rescheduled date need take no action, their existing ticket will remain valid and their location within the venue will remain unchanged. Fans unable to attend the new shows are asked to secure a refund from their original point of purchase prior to 5pm (local time to the venue) on Monday 28 April 2014. Refunds can be secured through:

Any refunded tickets will be made available to purchase from 10 a.m. (local time to the venue) on Friday 2 May, 2014 from the above listed ticketing outlets.

Pre-sale tickets for the new Perth and Hunter Valley shows will be available via www.frontiertouring.com/rollingstones from noon AEST Tuesday 29 April 2014 until noon AEST Wednesday 30 April (or earlier if pre-sale allocation is exhausted). Head to the site for further details.

Special guests have also been confirmed as rock legends Jimmy Barnes for the Adelaide show and the Hunters & Collectors for the Auckland show. Special guests will also be shortly announced for the Hanging Rock and Hunter Valley concerts.

The Rolling Stones launched the "14 on Fire" tour on Feb. 21, 2014, at Du Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Critics' reviews of the tour have been mostly positive.

Former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor, who was a special guest on the Rolling Stones' "50 and Counting" concerts in 2012 and 2013, has been a special guest on the Rolling Stones "14 on Fire" tour.
