According to a news release posted Aug. 2 at RollingStones.com, the legendary British rockers have made the interview with the veteran blues guitarist, who performed with The Stones throughout their AEG Live produced 50 and Counting Tour, available exclusively on their official app.
In the interview, Taylor talks about his experience performing once again with his former bandmates.
Taylor began the tour performing on one song, the 1969 “Let It Bleed” classic “Midnight Rambler,” but gradually had his role expanded to being featured on the show's final encore, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," as well as on fav-voted songs such as "Sway" and "Can't You Hear Me Knocking."
Last week, The Stones released "Hyde Park Live," which contains highlights culled from their two Hyde Park shows, which closed out the tour on July 6 and July 13. The sold out shows came nearly 44 years to the day after their first landmark performance at the historic venue, which marked Taylor's live debut with the band.
Did you know? The Rolling Stones new album "Hyde Park Live" topped the charts in 11 countries on iTunes upon its release last week, and debuted this week on the Billboard 200 Top 20 at No. 19, giving the band their 50th album entry on the Billboard 200 album chart.
