Rolling Stones perform 'All Down the Line' to 40,000 in Stockholm, Sweden

The Rolling Stones performed their 1972 Exile On Main Street track “All Down The Line" on July 1 in Stockholm, Sweden. The legendary British rockers performed the classic "Exile" opening track to over 40,000 fans at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena.

According to an update posted June 28 at their official website at, the legendary British rockers played a 19-song setlist, which included the Jagger/Richards penned "Exile" rocker as their online fan favourite selection. Over 90,000 fans voted for the song in what The Stones described as "a very close result." It was the first time the "Satisfaction" hitmakers have included "All Down the Line" in the setlist since kicking off their 14 On Fire Tour European in Oslo, Norway on May 26.

Other highlights included a reappearance of their 1973 Goat's Head Soup hit single "Angie" for the first time since their headline appearance at PinkPop festival early last month. Mick Taylor performed as guest artist on "Midnight Rambler," as well as on the encore "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." The Stones brought in the St. Jacobs Kammarkor Choir as special guest backing vocalists on "You Can't Always Get What You Want."

Along with their brisk touring schedule, The Stones have already been busy this week with individual projects. Keith Richards chatted about his love of the blues and played favourite album tracks on "My Planet Rocks, a Planet Rock radio special which aired June 29. Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts participated in a hilarious self-mocking promo for veteran British comedy troupe Monty Python's 10-night run at London's O2 Arena this month, and Ronnie Wood opened a comprehensive exhibition of his artwork at Stockholm's Walmark Gallery on July 1.
