The Rolling Stones have confirmed they will return to road in May for an expanded 14-city tour of Europe.
According to a news release posted on March 31 at Rolling Stones.com, the legendary British rockers will recommence their 14 on Fire Tour, following multiple show postponements due to the tragic death of frontman Mick Jagger's girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott.
The European trek will begin May 26 in Oslo, Norway at Telenor Arena and wrap up July 3 in Demark at Roskilde Festival.
The Stones postponed their entire sold out Australian and New Zealand tour leg last month to allow the grieving singer to fly to attend funeral details for Scott, who took her own life last month in her New York apartment.
According to promoter Michael Gudinski of Frontier Touring in association with AEG Live, the band has promised to reschedule the Australian dates in the fall.
