Rolling Stones confirm 2014 European summer festival appearances

The Rolling Stones have announced a pair of summer headline festival appearances in Holland and Belgium.

According to a news release posted on March 12 at Rolling Stones.com, the legendary British rockers will perform on June 7 in Landgraaf, Netherlands at Pinkpop Festival and on June 28 in Werchter, Belgium at TW Classic Festival.

The dates are the first confirmed two shows in an anticipated European 14 On Fire Tour leg, which take place during May and June this year.

"I love festivals in the summertime and can't wait for the tour to get to Europe," said frontman Mick Jagger.

"Let's keep this show on the road,” added guitarist Keith Richards. “The band are in top form, so I'm really looking forward to getting back to Europe.”

Tickets for both festivals go on sale this Sat., March 15.

The Stones will perform the final date of their Asian leg on March 15 in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore at the Sands Ballroom before kicking off their tour of Australia and New Zealand on March 19 in Perth, Australia at Perth Arena.
