The legendary British rockers posted a 5:03 minute clip on July 26 at, which looks back on the colorful stage career of the icon frontman. The clip contains a montage of live stage and video footage from various periods in Jagger's five decade career set to The Stone's 1980 hit single "Emotional Rescue."

The year has been a whirlwind of activities for Sir Mick, which has included highs and lows. The Stones wrapped up their European tour leg earlier this month, enjoying huge box office numbers and solid reviews. They resumed their world tour in late May, following an abrupt cancellation of their initial Australia and New Zealand tour dates in March, due to the death by suicide of Jagger's longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott. The "Satisfaction" hitmakers had only just arrived in Perth when they received the news of the 46-year-old fashion designer's passing and quickly postponed the Perth date with the remainder of the tour quickly following suit.

Jagger raised eyebrows during the tour when he was photographed on the balcony of his penthouse suite in Zurich, Switzerland with a "mystery woman" in a state of undress. The mystery companion was later identified as American ballet dancer Melanie Hamrick. Although gossip columns called the behavior scandalous, Stones fans were mostly relieved to see Jagger back on tour.

May proved to be an eventful month with Sir Mick becoming a first-time great grandfather. The rock superstar's 21 year-old granddaughter Assisi, the daughter of his daughter Jade with ex-wife Bianca Jagger, gave birth to a baby girl yesterday on May 19.

On break from the 14 On Fire Tour until the fall, Jagger has been in the public eye a great deal, attending games at the World Cup in Brazil. Never far from controversy, Sir Mick laughingly came under fire and received the label of "jinx," from soccer fans who blamed Jagger's track record of supporting losing teams for their team's loss.

Jagger has also been busy in the past few weeks attending promotional responsibilities in his role as producer for "Get on Up." The film, which stars Chadwick Boseman in the role of the late Godfather of Soul, premiered on July 21 at New York's Apollo Theater with Jagger in attendance and, most recently, was screened on July 25 to several hundred fans in Brown's hometown of Augusta, Georgia with many of the cast members in attendance.

Seemingly ageless, Jagger and The Stones will hit the road once again in fall with their 14 On Fire Tour leg of Australia and New Zealand. Presented by Frontier Touring in association with AEG Live, the Down Under trek will run from Oct. 25 - Nov. 22 with opening night taking place at the Adelaide Oval. Click here for more details.
