The Rolling Stones are among the top contenders at the 2013 Billboard Touring Awards.
According to a news release posted Oct. 22 at Billboard.com, "The World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band: will be honored along with fellow 2013 touring heavyweights including: Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Pink at the 10th Annual Billboard Touring Awards.
The "Satisfaction" hitmakers are nominated in four categories, including: Top Boxscore, Shell Rotella "Haul" of Fame, Concert Marketing and Promotion, as well as Eventful Fan's Choice Award.
The Stones' AEG Live produced 50 and Counting Tour received two separate nominations in the Top Boxscore category against sole contender Pink for their shows on Nov. 25 and Nov. 29 at London's O2 Arena and May 28, May 31 and June at Chicago's United Center.
Tour producers AEG Live are also up for Top Promoter.
The Billboard Touring Awards will be held Nov. 14 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are also honoring The Rolling Stones with an all-star tribute on Oct. 26 in Cleveland, Ohio at PlayhouseSquare’s State Theatre.
On Nov. 11, the band will release a concert film of the Hyde Park shows titled "Sweet Summer Fun - Hyde Park Live" on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as CD and vinyl formats.
