The Rolling Stones 50 and Counting Tour has placed in the top 5 of Pollstar's Top 200 North American Tours of 2013.

According to Pollstar's newly released statistics posted Jan. 10 at Pollstar.com, the legendary British rockers were the fourth biggest touring act in North America during 2013 with gross earnings of $87.7 million dollars, despite playing only 18 shows in 11 cities - a fraction of the shows performed by all other top touring artists.

Boasting an average ticket price of $228.71, the “Satisfaction” hitmakers AEG Live produced 50 and Counting Tour grossed a whopping per show average of $7,969,275 per show - both stats by far the highest of any other act on the list.

The World's Greatest Rock n' Roll Band's average ticket price was nearly three times that of first place artist Taylor Swift ($84.40), who averaged a mere $2,397,872 per show, but performed 66 shows (nearly four times as many as The Stones) to earn top spot with a total gross of $112.7 million, followed by Bon Jovi ($107.3) and Kenny Chesney ($90.9).

The Stones earned three nominations at the 56th annual Grammy Awards, which will be held Jan. 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will kick off their 14 on Fire Tour on Feb. 21 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at du Arena.

Did you know? The Rolling Stones 50 and Counting Tour recently topped Forbes magazine's "2013's Top Ten Most Expensive Concert Tours," by commanding a mind-boggling average ticket price of $624.00 on the secondary market.
