Rolen not ready to retire from baseball

Cincinnati Reds third baseman Scott Rolen still hasn't made up his mind if he will walk away from the game of baseball.

Rolen has been considering retirement for quite some time. He will celebrate his 38th birthday in April, yet he hasn't officially closed the door on retirement.

The Reds are opening to bringing him back. But Cincinnati Enquirer Reds beat writer John Fay believes that Rolen will retire.

But the thing is, Rolen hasn't talked to the media at all this off-season. And he had a weak .698 OPA in the past two seasons in Cincinnati.
