Section 6: Act out Anger Management role-play: Matt Falsely Accuses Jonathan of Stealing
A. Students participate in scripted role-play called “Matt Falsely Accuses Jonathan of Stealing.”
Story Description: This story is about a boy not only making a false accusation of a good friend, he punches him in the nose. Will his friend agree to forgive him? Find out in the story called “Matt Falsely Accuses Jonathan of Stealing.”

B. Teacher: We will now act out the role-play based on the last story you just heard called “Matt Falsely Accuses Jonathan of Stealing.”
The role-play features two guy actors: Matt and Jonathan.
The role-play also features three girl actors: Mrs. Feelgood – Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Watchtower – Assistant Principal, and Matt’s Mom.
Matt, Jonathan, Mrs. Feelgood, and Mrs. Watchower have the big parts. Matt’s Mom has a medium-sized part.
The rest of the class will take turns reading the parts of Narrator 1 and Narrator 2.
Who is interested in playing these roles? (Either pull names or accept eager student volunteers.)
C. PDF File – Print about 10 copies for students to share of this scripted Anger Management role-play called “Matt Falsely Accuses Jonathan of Stealing.”
