Roland Martin is leaving CNN. On March 19, Huffington Post reported that Roland is admitting that he is leaving to move on to other ventures in his life. Does this news shock you?
He will be sticking around until April, but after that he is gone. He got suspended last year for his comments about the Super Bowl, but he got his job back. Things have been going well since then, but now he will not be on the network anymore. It is still unknown what he is going to be doing or where he will end up.
All that he is saying now is that "new boss wants news peeps." It certainly makes it sound like it was not Roland Martin's choice to leave CNN, but he is going to be doing it anyway. Jeff Zuckerman is the new president of the network. It sounds like things are not working out between the two of them.
