Ready to achieve true relaxation and learn how to help others do the same? Roger Cole, Ph.D is teaching an 8-session Restorative Yoga Teacher's Course in April for current yoga teachers and yoga students looking to deepen their practice.
This is rare opportunity to learn from an acclaimed expert close to home at Yoga Del Mar. Roger is an internationally recognized, certified Iyengar yoga teacher trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institutes in San Francisco and Pune, India.
Roger's education at Stanford University and the University of California in the science of relaxation, sleep, and circadian rhythms gives him an exceptional understanding of the effects of yoga on the human body. He regularly appears at Yoga Journal Conferences and studios around the United States for workshops. He also writes articles on yoga teaching, practice, biology and therapeutics for a variety of publications including Yoga Journal. Roger has trained thousands of yoga students since 1980.
Roger is also an active member of the North County Yoga community. He teaches beginner and intermediate weekly Iyengar classes Tuesday nights at Yoga Del Mar.
Roger and Yoga Del Mar are generously donating 10 percent of the proceeds from his Restorative Yoga Teacher's Course to the Summer's Hope campaign to help raise funds for North County Yoga Instructor Summer Autio when participants mention "Summer's Hope" during registration.
