'Rodney Dangerfield,' a comedian who DOES get respect - Laugh! for Heaven's Sake

William "Bill" Peterson is a tribute artist to that of actor and comedian, Rodney Dangerfield. Peterson is a perfect double to Dangerfield in all ways, except maybe one... Bill Peterson does get respect!

Bill Peterson not only has the look, but he has the voice, mannerisms and jokes galore!  He also has twenty five years under his belt of looking, sounding, and acting just like Rodney.

Peterson has had the lead role in the independent film, Mr. Las Vegas (2001), the TV show Thirty Seconds Of Fame (2002).  The following year he was voted number one in comedy by judges at the USA world showcase at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

That same year Peterson, an outstanding artist in his own right, won the World Tribute Artist Championship in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada.

This charming man, comic and entertainer was voted as the number one lookalike, numerous times, at Rodney Dangerfield lookalike contests (2003 - 2007). He was honored for outstanding performance in contemporary comedy (2004 - 2007), Best in Comedy (2005) and Most Professional Impersonator (2006),  both at The Reel Awards, (The Reel Awards 2010).

Peterson has made appearances at the Imperial Palace (2005 - 2008) and at the Celebrity Club (2006 - 2007), both in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Bill Peterson was Saratoga's Pick of the week (2006), and he won the Cloney Award for Best Comedic Impersonation (2007).

Comic Bill Peterson has also appeared and showcased at the Sunburst Celebrity Impersonators Convention in Orlando, Florida and the Celebrity Impersonators Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. Another great lookalike comic talent, seen at such convenions, is that of Anne Kissell as Roseanne Barr.

Bill Peterson, as Rodney Dangerfield, has appeared, too, at Harrah's, Golden Nugget, Poker Tournaments, Mandalay Bay, Imperial palace , MGM Grand and at the Flamingo Hotel with comedian George Wallace.  He has worked as Rodney at corporate golf tournaments all over the country, including Guam and Sai-pan.  Private parties and corporate events know what they're doing when opening their arms to this popular and very talented performer.

Additional types of venues that Peterson/Dangerfield has been enjoyed at: comedy clubs, casinos, corporate and private functions and at many fund raisers. In addition, he has performed on radio and television all over the country, including islands.

During a performance, this seasoned lookalike impersonator grabbed the attention of, the now dearly departed, Rodney Dangerfield, as well as Rodney's wife, Joan. The couple was so impressed with Peterson's performance that they invited him to attend one of Dangerfield's new movie premieres.

To top it off, as a professional tribute artist, Bill Peterson's timing is perfect, and his delivery is impeccable. He leaves the audience amazed and laughing hysterically, and he sometimes is not alone, as he is part of a classic comedy act that also includes 'Jack Benny' and 'George Burns'...

This wonderful act that Peterson, as Dangerfield, is a part of is called "Laugh! for Heaven's Sake."  This act is a wonderful tribute to four of the most funny and talented men our world has ever known - Jack Benny, 'Bob Hope,' (more on Hope), 'George Burns' and of course, Rodney Dangerfield.  All four men, in real life, have passed on, but now, "Laugh! for Heaven's Sake,"  is the next best thing!
