Rodan + Fields Anti-Age Hand Treatment Regimen
As reported in Rodan + Fields Anti-Age needle roller: Changing skin on the cellular level, Dr. Timothy Falla was the guest speaker at a recent Rodan + Fields training in Nashville, TN on Oct. 15, where he spoke on the actual genetic changes that Rodan + Fields products create in skin cells. As part of his in-depth presentation, Dr. Falla also addressed the science behind the new Rodan + Fields Anti-Age Hand Treatment Regimen.
What Does the Hand Treatment Regimen Do?
Pointing out that hands are exposed to the sun and other environmental damage on a daily basis, Dr. Falla said the goal of creating a Hand Treatment Regimen for hands was, “to plump them up and put moisture back into them and stop the damage from continuing and even the skin tone.”
Rebuild & Replenish the Skin
Falla said to accomplish those things, it was necessary to rebuild the protective barrier and replenish the natural moisture content in the skin of the hands as well as to plump the skin and even out the skin tone. To combine the best ingredients required two separate products.
Why Two Products?
A liquid vehicle was the best way to apply the seracin peptide used to plump and firm the skin. The reason a stick was necessary as the 2nd step in the Hand Treatment Regimen involves vitamin C -- ascorbic acid -- which is not stable in liquids, cremes and lotions. Rodan + Fields developed a stable, non-aqueous way to apply a potent dose of vitamin C to the hands in a way that is simply not possible in any over-the-counter products.
MultiMed Formulas
This is another prime example of why Rodan + Fields uses multimed therapy - to combine the right ingredients, in the right fomulations, in the right order for maximum effect. For more information read: On the Other Hand: Dr. Tim Falla On the New Anti-Age Hand Treatment Regimen.
