This is such an easy recipe to prepare. You would never know it by the taste though. The amount of marshmallows and nuts can be easily adjusted to suit your taste.
Rocky Road Candy
- 1 bag chocolate chips, semi sweet
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 ½ cups peanuts
Line 2 cookie sheets with no-stick foil.
Melt chips in a double broiler on medium/high heat on the stove.
When melted remove from heat and add nuts and then marshmallows.
Spoon by tablespoonfuls onto prepared pans.
Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes, until hard to the touch.
Move to an air tight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
These candies do freeze well for several months.
