Rockville, Maryland, will welcome the world's first branded wellness hotel this June.
The building on Rockville Pike looks like a Holiday Inn. And it is from the same parent company, IHG, that operates the popular chain as well as The Willard InterContinental and 7 other brands of lodging. But inside, the EVEN™ Hotel is the first of a new brand featuring wellness for travelers
EVEN Hotels invite wellness on every journey by providing solutions for travelers' wellness needs. With an emphasis on four components, Eating Well, Resting Easy, Keeping Active, and Accomplishing More, the brand aims to help guests feel better about their experience and themselves based on the choices they are able to make.
Like a morning run with the hotel manager.
1400 sq ft gym with three zones for mat work, cardio and weights.
Exercise equipment in every guest room.
Globally, no other brand does this under one roof, at a mainstream price point.
The brand is expected to boost the IHG portfolio of preferred brands and in the long term, become a key driver in market share growth in the U.S.
Only one component of wellness is missing at the new Rockville hotel: there is no spa.
Scheduled to open this June at 1775 Rockville Pike, MD, Even Hotel's room rates begin at $171 per night. According to their website, that's non-refundable if you cancel.
