TAMPA - Tampa hard rock trio, Rockstarr Bentley, have announced the addition of Kei Alexander Bland as their new drummer. Formerly of Tampa Bay bands such as Sugar Phix and 4Ever Endeavor, Bland replaces former drummer, M.A. Kiss, who parted ways with the band back in March.

With the addition of Bland on drums, the trio now consists of Rocky Bentley (lead vocals/guitar/bass), Mark "Killa" Hall (bass/keys/guitar/vocals) and Kei Alexander Bland (drums/vocals).

In addition to their lineup change, Rockstarr Bentley is also currently in pre-production sessions at Starrship Recording Studios where they are working on new songs. Once released, the new songs will be accompanied by at least one new music video. The band will also be making a cameo appearance in the new Black Honkeys music video for “Icebreaker.”

ROCKSTARR BENTLEY UPDATE: NEW LINEUP, NEW MUSIC, CONCERT NEWS, ETC.

TAMPA, FLORIDA (EARTH)-- Rockstarr Bentley officially welcomes 14 year old, Kei Alexander Bland, as their new Drummer. Kei brings a wealth of professional experience and a level of musicianship that belies his years. Kei’s many sponsors include, Supernatural Cymbals, Cympad, Drumstatic, KickPort, Evans Drumheads and Seminole Music and Sound. Kei replaced former drummer, Kiss, M.A., who departed just prior to RSB’s March 22nd appearance at The Coliseum of Bradenton’s Grand Opening show.

On April 9th, the group was honored to bring their show to The State Theatre alongside Heavy Metal legends, ANVIL. Afterwards Sal Itialiano, Bassist for ANVIL quipped that RSB’s show “kicked ass” and that the band is “right on the money”. He even compared the groups high energy stage show to that of the hugely influential, Slade!

The group is currently in pre-production sessions to record a new batch of original songs at their own, Starrship Recording Studio, somewhere in Florida. The new tunes will be accompanied by at least one new music video. Speaking of video, look for RSB to make a cameo appearance in the newest music video from Tampa Bay favorites, The Black Honkeys. The video for the song, “Icebreaker” features Rockstarr Bentley performing in the opening segment and will be out soon.

Rockstarr Bentley is slated to play with Bobaflex on Friday, May23rd at The Coliseum of Bradenton along with Nine Mile Drive and The Dood. Also, RSB will be performing at Seminole Music and Sound’s Customer Appreciation event on Saturday, May 31st. More dates will be announced soon.
