Rockstar Uproar, the most anticipated music festival of the summer announced its line-up for 2014 that includes headliners Godsmack, Seether, Skillet, Buckcherry, Pop Evil amongst others. The nationwide tour will start on August 15th in Detroit and conclude in Auburn, Wash. on September 12th. Check out their website for dates and cities.
Godsmack has just released their first single, "1000 hp" off their upcoming album of the same name. Judging by the sound of "1000 hp", it appears that these boys from Boston have gone back to their roots and deliver that in-your-face style that we've all grown to love. If you've never experienced a live Godsmack show, this will be the perfect opportunity to see why they've become one of the country's favorite live rock bands. Priding themselves in their live sets and aiming to give their fans their money's worth, they seem to put on a bigger show each and every year. This alone will be worth the price of admission. Check out their promo video here.
Seether is scheduled to release their latest album, Isolate and Medicate on July 1st. Their latest release, "Words as Weapons" clearly demonstrates why lead singer, Shaun Morgan has remained as one of the top songwriters in the business. They have a catalogue of hits a mile long. Always a fan favorite and having just witnessed them perform at Welcome to Rockville, Seether is at the top of their game giving 110-percent of themselves to please the crowd.
Pop Evil is currently on top of the rock world having just scored their third #1 hit off their album, Onyx with "Torn to Pieces". They put on one amazing live show that's guaranteed to keep your head banging and your fists pumping in the air. Their drummer, Chachi Riot lives up to his last name; he's such an animal behind his kit! Lead singer, Leigh Kakaty has one of the best voices in rock today.
