In honor of the release of the free High Life Update for Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games celebrated the new content for the popular open-world grime title by hosting a weekend event which granted players double the usual amount of mission rewards for select jobs. Additionally, a new set of missions that were added in the title update were also given their own special playlist for the event. While the playlist became unavailable after the weekend event ended, the developer announced on May 27 that they are bringing the playlist back for an extended period.

The High Life Update, which released earlier this month, introduced several new content additions to the online multiplayer mode of Grand Theft Auto V. The patch added new vehicles, clothing, weapons, and apartments to the game. A number of vehicles that were previously only available within the game’s single player campaign were also fully imported to GTA Online for fans to own and customize.

In addition to adding new apartment locations and interiors, the High Life Update also gives players the ability to own multiple properties at the same time inside of GTA Online. This gives fans the option to have a second apartment and doubles the total garage space available to every player, allowing fans the chance to own more vehicles within the game.

Grand Theft Auto V is only available on Xbox 360 and PS3, Despite numerous rumors to the contrary, Rockstar Games has yet to announce that the game is heading to additional platforms such as Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The High Life Update was the second of three planned updates that are expected to release this spring for GTA Online. The next update has been revealed to finally bring cooperative online heist missions to the game, giving players the opportunity to attempt to take on high-stakes robberies with their fellow gamers.
