According to an independent national study by the Research Strategy Group Inc, Rocksmith 2014 Edition will be the fastest way to learn to play guitar. Ubisoft has released a new trailer on Monday showing off some of the new mini-games that are meant to help everyone learn how to play guitar. These mini-games are called the Guitarcade, and they will help players focus on the practical skills and fundamentals of playing guitar.
Rocksmith 2014 will be tailored to better teach the key elements of guitar playing. The game will feature a redesigned interface, new songs, and all-new features. One of these features is called Riff Repeater, and it will let players select any section of a song they want to play, then repeat it over and over until it's mastered.
Players can also set the starting difficulty, speed, or play note-by-note through challenging parts of the song. All this can be done on-the-fly, as well. Speaking of mastering, the new Master Mode will make playing by memory more approachable.
As for the Guitarcade itself, these mini-games have been created to hone specific guitar skills. All of these features will certainly make the game more approachable for new fans. Check out the trailer on this page to see some of the Guitarcade mini-games.
