A Rockmart father and son were both arrested on felony burglary charges Saturday as the result of a forced entry burglary into a pool house on Oak Hill Drive in Rockmart.

According to Rockmart Detective David Gowens; the father and son were caught in the act when officers from the Rockmart Police Department arrived on the scene to find the duo removing items from the property. Gowens advised that the doors to the pool house were unscrewed and completely removed to gain entry.

Both men were released from the Polk County jail earlier today after posting property bonds totaling $5,100 each.
