Rockfish Celebration begins in downtown Baltimore


The Downtown Partnership has designated the days from February 16-26 as a rockfish celebration. Various restaurants around downtown Baltimore will participate in the event. Each restaurant will highlight the local fish by creating a special dish or dishes revolving around the rockfish. This is the second year of a rockfish week by the Downtown Partnership and an expanded 18+ restaurants will participate this year.

Participating restaurants and dishes include:

Charleston—rockfish tasting menu and wine pairing

Waterfront Kitchen—roasted rockfish with caramelized onion and black truffle au jus.

Ryleigh’s - rockfish bites and Thai peanut rockfish

TEN TEN - grilled rockfish and Chesapeake oysters and French green beans.

Regi’s American Bistro - “Dynamite Style” rockfish and crab imperial with sweet corn pudding.

The Oceanaire - rockfish cakes, grilled rockfish, and pecan crusted rockfish

Pickles Pub - rockfish bites with Buffalo sauce.

The Prime Rib - crabmeat-stuffed rockfish, sautéed with white wine, lemon, and butter

La Scala - rockfish imperial and rockfish San Remo.

Phillips Seafood - rockfish and tomato ragout over goat cheese polenta cakes.

Kali's Court - pan seared rockfish over red bliss puree

B&O Brasserie - Rockfish with frog leg.
