It's hard to believe but according to Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), 50% of the 535 elementary schools in the district are not receiving arts education due to budget cuts. You can help turn this around, by getting up off that couch for a night and attend the upcoming 'Peace Through Music Gala' this Sunday, September 15, at the Loews Hollywood Hotel. The event will take place from 5-11 pm at Wolfgang Puck's Ray Dolby Ballroom and will be featuring performances by Macy Gray & Slash. The event will also have a live auction with items donated by A-list celebrities. The red-carpet gala will boasts performances by Matt Sorum and Shehzad Roy with appearances by Jane Lynch, Mark McGrath, Danny Masterson, Johnathan Schaech and many more.
