The seventh installment of Columbus' Rock on the Range festival is loaded with bands that made their name during the 1990's. Grunge and alternative were favored at the top of the bill this year with bands like Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Bush, and the Smashing Pumpkins. Korn, probably the biggest band to emerge from the nu-metal movement of the mid to late nineties will also be making a return to the festival. Many newer rock and metal bands also litter the lineup as well as one classic rock band; Cheap Trick. The now three day festival will be held at Columbus Crew Stadium on May 17-19.
The official lineup is as follows:
Soundgarden Alice In Chains Smashing Pumpkins Korn
