As the Sabbath Queen is bid a fond farewell, and the fourth night of Chanukah begins... a sonic wave of feedback will sweep through the social hall at Temple Emanu-El, and a serious rager will crank into high gear! ROCK of AGES! It's an all ages concert event that will take place on December 4, 2010 at Temple Emanu-El in Nu'uanu valley. This youth friendly volume-fest will feature local rockers Flux Capacitor who, by the way, are donating their time for free - to help out Temple Emanu-El's Adult and Youth Educational programs. A little tshuva for these musical bad boys? Probably not, but according to rave reviews, the guys in Flux put on one hell of a show!
According to Temple President, Cliff Halevi, there will be non-alcoholic cocktails, energy drinks, and plenty of grinds for sale on the cheap - and the admission price is the lowest in town! Tickets for ROCK of AGES! are just $5 for students and $10 for adults, they can be purchased online via the Temple website, and are also available at the front office during normal business hours. Call (808) 595-7521 for details.
