Exclusive evening will feature an interview with Joe Bonamassa

Over the course of Rock and Roll history certain guitars stand out above the rest as truly magnificent be it either in design, innovation or sound quality. For the first time ever, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is bringing some of the top vintage guitars together along with special guest Joe Bonamassa. The Host of Headstock: A Vintage Guitar Experience will be Guitar Aficionado’s Brad Tolinski. The event will take place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. and is sponsored by Guitar Aficionado and Gibson Brands.

Each vintage guitar has a history and during this one of a kind event, Joe and Brad will hold story teller sessions. This one day only event will be curated by some of the top vintage collectors such as Ronny Proler, Perry Margouleff, Vic DaPra and Tom Wittrock.

As if this is not enough, the highlight of the night will be the dropping of the velvet ropes in order for the guests to enjoy the guitars up close. Dixie Peach and Friends will be on hand to perform on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Main Stage. Your ticket also entitles you to a vintage guitar auction to benefit the Museum as well as an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and tours of the Museum.

Event tickets are $150 and are on sale Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at www.rockhall.com.
