'Robocop' reboot comes to theaters in February, 2014

The classics are often great when rebooted into a more modern take on the story. The re-envisioning of the 1987 classic, “Robocop” is due in theaters on Friday, February 7, 2014.

With a new cast and modern technology, the classic film “Robocop” will receive the TLC it needs to bring it back as a blockbuster hit. The multinational Omni Corporation is at the height of robotics in 2041. The drones are winning wars across the globe but they want to bring the technology home.

After a decorated heroic Detroit police officer is murdered while on duty, he is brought back to life as Robocop. The CEO of Omni Corporation is a villainous jerk who wants the officer brought to life for his own financial gain.

The science fiction remake of “Robocop” will have Jose Padilha at the helm.
