Sadly, someone commits suicide every day in our country. If you are feeling sad, depressed or having suicidal thoughts schedule an appointment with a psychiatrist or mental health agency in your area immediately.

A psychiatrist, grief counselor and other mental health professionals are trained to help people cope during tough times. A psychiatrist is a physician who completed medical school and years of specialty training in psychiatry. A psychiatrist will diagnose mental illnesses and prescribe medication and/or other treatment options.

Benefits of seeing of a psychiatrist: patients feel better, receive support from a trained professional, receive medication or TMS treatment and receive private counseling sessions.

So forget about the stigma associated with mental illness, seek help immediately.
