Although it was known that Robin struggled with addiction throughout the years, his death is not related to his battle. However, it is reported by a very close colleague that he had been dealing with severe depression yet this is still a shock to all that knew him.
Mr. Williams wife quoted the following: "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one if its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin's death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."
The world should not focus on his tragic death but instead celebrate the amazing life and body of work that this brilliant entertainer blessed fans with during his time here with us.
