After a surprise breakup, “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke is not giving up on his marriage to Paula Patton. According to a report by TMZ on Feb. 26, the R&B singer is determined to win back the love of his life.

After the couple released a mutual statement announced they have separated, sources close to the singer told TMZ that the singer wants desperately to save his marriage by showing Patton that he can change and be a good husband. After Patton told him on Friday that she wanted a divorce, Thicke flew to Canada to try to change her mind.

Thicke is also concerned about their son, who he does not want raised in separate homes. Raising their child together is added motivation for Thicke who is really distraught over the separation.

Understandably heartbroken, Robin Thicke has canceled three consecutive concerts on his North American tour. The latest was a concert at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina on Tuesday night (Feb. 25).

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah’s Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25,’ the venue said in a statement. “This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

Although Thicke has made is publicly known that he doesn’t like to let down his fans, the 36-year-old performer is more concerned at the moment about the heart he has let down. His own and the heart of the woman he has been with for the last nine years.
