The Arizona Jazz Festival announced Sep. 21 that the three-day music blowout has moved to the incomparable Arizona Grand Resort for 2013. This year’s fete is expected to draw more than 13,000 music fans for three full days of exceptional R&B, old school, pop and jazz from an outstanding collection of national acts.
The Festival kicks off on Friday, Oct. 25 with a star-studded lineup that includes multiple Grammy Award-winning ambassador of soul Maxwell and critically acclaimed sax man Eric Darius together with platinum-selling soul singer Lyfe Jennings.
The party kicks into high gear with Saturday’s stellar musical roll-call, featuring 2013’s BET Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Charlie Wilson, Grammy Award-winning soulstress Erykah Badu and no less than 10-time Grammy-winning “Queen of Funk” Chaka Khan.
And last but certainly not least, multi-platinum selling R&B singer/songwriter Keyshia Cole and chart-topping superstar Robin Thicke will blister the Festival stage – and grab a headline or two – with their performances on Sunday, Oct. 27.
