Singer Robin Thicke found himself in hot water a few days ago. The "When I Get You Alone" singer was arrested for marijuana possession in New York.
According to The Daily News, Thicke was spotted smoking a joint in a Cadillac Escalade on Friday, February 17 on East 21st Street in Manhattan. Thicke was in NY to perform at the Nomad's Way Gala to benefit educational initiatives in Kazakhstan. The event took place on Thursday, February 16 at the New York Public Library.
"He wasn't driving," a police source told the paper. "He was sitting in the car. He was was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him."
There was another passenger in the Escalade when the police spotted the vehicle, but Thicke was the only one arrested.
The singer was processed Friday afternoon and given a desk appearance ticket.
