Singer Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton have split. After nine years of marriage, the actress, Paula Patton, and her husband who is best known for the song “Blurred Lines” are splitting, according to CBS News on Monday. Yet, the pair claim they will always love one another and be best friends forever.
The two met when they were teenagers. Thirty-eight-year-old Patton and 36-year-old Thicke parented a son in April 2010. The child’s name is Julian Fuego Thicke.
Besides Thicke having had a breakthrough his song last year, Patton has had successes in acting which include roles in “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” “Precious,” and “Idlewild.” Additionally, Patton has made appearances in Thicke’s music videos – such as “Love After War” and “Lost Without U.” Reportedly, Patton has been the inspiration for most of Thicke’s music. Additionally, she was pictured on the cover of Thicke’s first recording in 2003, “A Beautiful World.”
Thicke is the son of Alan Thicke, the well-known actor.
