Robin Strasser (Dorian, One Life to Live) recently tweeted that she has been asked to star in the play "Love, Loss and What I Wore" in February.
Though she was not specific about when or where, it is assumed she will be performing in the acclaimed Off-Broadway play at Westside Theatre in New York, where the play has been running with a rotating cast since October 2009.
"Love, Loss and What I Wore" is based on a best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman and recollections of friends of Nora and Delia Ephron. In the play, articles of clothing and accessories trigger memories and monologues.
So far, there seems to have been no word on specific dates or performance times, or who will be co-starring with Strasser in her performances.
The production supports Dress For Success and audience members are invited to donate gently used purses and business accessories in the theatre lobby. It should also be noted that children under four years of age may not be permitted in the theatre, and latecomers will not be seated.
Robin Strasser's One Life to Live co-stars, Amanda Setton (Kimberly Andrews) and Kim Zimmer (Echo DiSavoy) have previously starred in "Love, Loss and What I Wore." Kim Zimmer will be performing in "Odysseus D.O.A." at Connecticut Repertory Theatre in February.
