Although there is still much controversy surrounding the reinstatement of Phil Robertson to the A&E hit show Duck Dynasty, there is one person who is not fazed by his comments that many described as “anti-gay”—Robin Roberts.

In fact, she recently came out and announced that she is gay and has received an outpouring of support.

As 2013 comes to a close, this past weekend Roberts took to Facebook to reflect on her eventful year and revealed a relationship with her "longtime girlfriend."

In the post, Roberts wrote: "I am grateful for my entire family, my long time girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together."

According to People, Robert’s girlfriend of 10 years is a massage therapist named Amber Laign, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.

First Lady Michelle Obama was one of the first to congratulate Roberts on the news. On Monday she tweeted, “I am so happy for you and Amber! You continue to make us all proud.-mo”
