Robin Roberts announces return to ‘GMA’: ‘Sometime in February’

Robin Roberts is returning to Good Morning America earlier than planned. The morning show host was first suggested to be gone until May, but apparently the celebrity is itching to get back to work. Now, it appears as long as the doctors give her the green light, she will be back at the Good Morning America desk in February. Announcing the news on Monday morning, Roberts looked thrilled to be getting back to work.

“I’m coming home,” said Robin Roberts on Good Morning America. “I should be back sometime in February. Now I have a date in mind that’s very personal and very important to me, but I will ultimately listen to what my doctors say.”

Robin Roberts underwent a bone marrow transplant and then treatment for a serious blood disorder. Working hard at getting healthy, the star has kept the fans in the loop and her progress is remarkable. Seeming to get stronger each day and positive about the whole experience, it’s obvious she feels the worse of her health issues are behind her.
