The Howard Stern Show's Robin Quivers says skinny girls eat bad shrimp and that the ladies on the hit show Mad Men look just fine.
Quivers mad the statements while dominating the panel on Tuesday night's Joy Behar Show. The episode focused on women's body image issues and the new, curvier look being ushered in by women on shows like Mad Men (despite January Jones being a Size 0)and the new sitcom Huge.

The show's 'Mad Beauty' segment gave Quivers the chance to share this pearl of wisdom about what really goes on behind-the-scenes in the homes of the unreasonably skinny:
"I heard the craziest story," Quivers told the Joy Behar Show audience. "I was watching this documentary on some runway models and they said they used to buy shrimp a week before the show, put it on the windowsill for three days and then eat it to get sick and get food poisoning and throw up for a few days. So, that’s what they’re doing to look like that."
Howard Stern is famous for his love of extremely skinny women, but Quivers doesn't think that means female HSS listeners need to vomit after every meal. "Part of the problem is men dictating what women do," she told the panel.

Quivers says she's seen the fear that accompanies those with fading beauty.
"We have beautiful women in the studio all the time," said Quivers. "And I can remember one of them saying to me as she was getting older: 'It's tough being beautiful, because this doesn't last forever and when your whole life has been this and it starts to go, you really don't have much else to rely on."

I love Robin, she is so smart and tough, she has to be to stand toe to toe with Howard & put up with all that "guy stuff" (burping, farting, etc.). I work with guys in construction & it is not easy cuz it's all about them - they get paid more, they're more gross, they're loud & obnoxious. I wish I had the advantage that Robin does, I would love to tell them to shut up & get outta my office (but if I did I would get fired). Cheers to Robin!!!
