On Wednesday, September 18, 2013 Emmy Award Winning casting director Robi Reed was honored at Indie Night on her birthday at Xen Lounge 10628 Ventura Blvd., in Studio City, CA 91604. Xen Lounge is owned by Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell Martin.
The event was attended by Robi Reed's family, friends, colleagues and some of the most prestigious actors in the industry. Robi Reed spoke about her foundation “Reed For Hope Foundation” founded 10 years ago.

Reed For Hope Foundation began as a small gathering in her home to bring awareness to a cause which turned into “A party with a purpose.” Reed For Hope Foundation hosts The Annual Sunshine Beyond the Summer Celebration and this year it was attended by over a thousand people and it was held at the home of Jaime Foxx.
