Robert Redford’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ poster revealed

Robert Redford's poster for "Captain America: Winter Soldier"
Marvel Comics

Coming out April 4, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” hosts a whole set characters not seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet. One of these characters is Robert Redford ‘s character, Agent Alexander Pierce. To debut this new character, a full-size poster of Pierce recently came out. IGN was one of the first to break the news of the new poster.

Redford looks confident and strong on the poster. One nice touch that has not been discussed in the poster is the fleet of S.H.I.E.L.D. airships flying in the background. Could this mean we’re going to see S.H.I.E.L.D. go all out to stop the Winter Soldier? It looks like this may be the largest battle outside the battle in “Marvel’s Avengers.”

Reprising their roles are Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Scarlett Johannson as Black Widow among others. Besides Redford as Pierce and Sebastian Stan plays the antagonistic Winter Soldier. As more develops, be sure to check back for updates. Check out other recent news below.
