The cast of Eclipse appeared on the Oprah show, but not everything was shown. In a clip exclusive on Oprah’s site shows her questioning Robert Pattinson about his reading. After thanking the Twilight series for getting people to read (“Eighty five million books sold. That is just really stunning”) she asked Robert about his love for books and reading to what he responded:
“Sometimes. I used to, much more so. Recently, I don’t know why, I haven’t been.”
He brought in The Ballad of the Sad Café (a short story collection) and told Oprah that he felt Carson McCullers was the best American author.
