Robert Pattinson spent part of his weekend attempting to avoid the paparazzi, and failing miserably. The Twilight star was followed in Venice and Malibu, with the photographers waiting outside while he tried to enjoy his day off.
At the end of the evening, Robert seemed to get fed up, asking to be left alone. The paparazzi persisted, asking questions like, "Did you have a fun day at the beach?"
Robert finally confronted the photographers, saying "I mean, seriously, just look at yourselves for a second. You've got a million pictures." He asked them to leave before him, allowing him to go home without having to worry about being followed. Robert is said to have waited for about 45 minutes for the paparazzi to leave, to no avail.
And now, one of the photographers is saying that Robert hit is car during the fiasco. Robert's rep, however, denies this.
"Robert was pulling out of a parking space after a quiet day in Malibu and was relentlessly pursued by paparazzi," his rep tells E! News. "He has no knowledge of having bumped or damaged another car in the process. The story has been manufactured for headlines."

No wonder Rob runs off to the UK whenever he is done shooting a movie in this country. He has said that he could move around freely there and no one intrudes on his privacy. The paparazzi in this country act like stalkers. The rules for the paps in Europe are very stringent since the death of Princess Diana. Those cameras clicking in Rob's face reminded me of the description of when the Princess was in the car dying and the cameras just keep clicking away. Rob is an admittedly bad driver and making him nervous while he is behind the wheel is not a good idea. He is basically in hiding when he is in the States amd even celebrities deserve a little personal space. It was a painful video to watch but amazing to see that although he was visibly upset, he was still polite to these dirtbags. What a sad situation.
leave rob the f*** alone! This is absolutly rediculous! He is a human being! You paparazzi should be ashamed of yourselves! I'm so proud that he stuck up for himself. He was having a nice weekend and you ***holes had to follow him everywhere. I agree completely with everything rob said. leave him alone!!!!!!!!
UNBELIEVABLE. Leave the guy alone already...he's right, you already have a million pictures. You folks are way out of line! And yes, he really is "such a nice guy". He does not deserve to be treated like that. There needs to be a law against what you do to people...they ARE just people by the way. BACK OFF!!!!
They were stalking Rob. The pap were cruel scum bags. They told him repeatedly they wouldn't follow him when he asked them to leave first and then they followed him anyway. Rob handled himself very well. Although obviously annoyed he never raised his voice - he was way more respectful to the pap than I could have been/ Paps killed Princess Diana following her like maniacs.I am sure the pap wanted to follow Rob home and he wasn;t going to let that happen. Poor Rob no wonder he leaves the states the minute he is finished working. He was nice to the fan that came up to the car - so nice the camera man finally said he is such a nice guy. Well, leave the nice guy alone!
This sucks. If Robert weren't such a nice, unassuming, sweet guy we wouldn't care, but he was being so much the gentleman trying to find any human quality to these a##hole paparazzi to politely ask them to finish getting their pictures and let him drive home without being followed so they'd find out where he lives. Can't a guy at least go home in peace and sleep without being worried the paps will be knocking at the windows! Geesh!
Wow even the police would not do anything, so sad I feel so sorry for him and k-stew, yes they are movie stars but they are people to, and yes there is a price to fame but this is totally ridiculous, no wonder he and Kristen spend more time apart than together whateer there status is, doing a job you really love and being hounded to death over is so sad.
they really need to leave him the alone
This video is outrageous and frustrating! This is stalking and the paparazzi should be charged for reckless endangerment. In the pursuit of pictures and forced interaction? Rob does not get to live as a private citizen in the US. He is not filming, doing a press tour, or willingly posing for photographs, what gives?*@ What is the fascination? Rob drives a car and socializes, no one needs photographs as visual confirmation. If London offers Rob a normal environment and protections from paparazzi, I hope he takes advantage of that. He is a regular guy and wants to socialize and spend time and money in the US --the paparazzi don't make this possible. Where is the separation between work and personal privacy? When exactly is he allowed to relax?
While I do not support this in ANY way, we are still as you can tell, watching the video. Might I suggest that since these cameras are so capable, that they try using the ZOOM. We all want our fan fix, they (actors) wouldn't be what they are without the fans. We love to see them, but actors do deserve respect and Rob was shown little. Why don't the pappz stay WAY back and try using the high dollar cameras they paid for to get that great shot we all love seeing. The actors won't feel invaded and will still be seen and adored by millions which is after all their cash cow. Pappz, you try walking around with a camera in your face every minute of every day.......There is a way to get the job done and still make everyone happy, give them their privacy. I mean anyone can be photographed walking down the street, just don't stick it in their faces....
This video is completely wrong! What idiots! In all the interviews, etc. I've watchjed of Rob I have never ever seen him so sad and angry. Why can't they leave him alone? What was wrong with the police - they seemed like they didn't care. I'm so upset for him. This just isn't right.
show we make the new low to protect our privacy, not just for him, like laura said. the freedem doesn't meant you can do anything, sometime the paparazzi got hit by someone, because they made those famus one reach their limt to control their emotion. too many picturs they got, don't mean they are more money or more "true" story!
Hard to watch. Why didn't those cops do anything?
people need to give rob and other celebs RESPECT i am a huge fan of rob but he's a person too and people need space, privacy, and respect
this guy can't even have one decent night out without a camera up his a**!
It is true that actors wouldn't be where they are now if it wasn't for the fans, but damn. I felt so bad for him. Just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean he's not human. He needs his privacy. They seriously need to back off.
