Robert Pattinson plays special visit for Oprah Winfrey

As of part of May 13's taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson decided to surprise a few lucky fans with something better than a studio appearance -- he went to their home.

Maria Mele, a mom from Naperville, Illinois, originally had sent in an email (like many other "Twilight" fans), to be a part of the studio audience for the recent "Twilight" taping featuring Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, and Dakota Fanning. She had caught Winfrey's attention reportedly due to her family's resemblance to the Cullen clan, including her son Giuseppe (who was a splitting image of Edward).

Maria had this to say about the visit to People Magazine:

"[My family and I] all lost it. [We were] screaming like a bunch of maniacs. We were all amazed that he was in our house.

"...It's something we will never forget. I have to say although Oprah and Robert were great, hearing my kids say 'thanks for making this happen' [was] absolutely priceless."

As it turns out, the entire family ultimately did get reserved tickets to the "Twilight" show taping.
