It took a New York TV interviewer to do it, but someone finally asked Kristen Stewart outright about the status of her relationship with Robert Pattinson.
Today, November 7, an article in TooFab.com reports that in Kristen Stewart’s Today Show interview this morning, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie asked Kristen point blank the question everyone else has been tiptoeing around:

What Kristen Stewart Had To Say
The cryptic answer Kristen gave about the current status of her relationship with Rob left a lot to be desired.
After a moment’s hesitation, here’s what Kristen Stewart had to say:
"Funny you mention that.
"I'm going to just let people watch whatever little movie they think our lives are…
Keep 'em guessing, I always say."
Not exactly the answer anxious Twilight fans were hoping to hear.
The answer Kristen gave still left everyone in the dark about the current status of her relationship with Rob.
Just what exactly is Kristen’s answer supposed to mean?
Are Kristen and Rob back together?
Did Kristen and Rob ever split?
Are they lovers now, or just friends?
Was the whole thing a publicity stunt?
With a non-answer like the one Kristen gave, Twilight fans still have no idea what to think.

Was It or Wasn’t It a Publicity Stunt?
Despite numerous reports claiming that Robert Pattinson has reconciled with Kristen Stewart in the wake of her widely publiced affair with Rupert Sanders, countless people still think their reconciliation is nothing more than a publicity stunt. Most Twilight fans remain unconvinced that Rob and Kristen have truly reconciled, despite videos and pictures that supposedly confirmed that the reconciliation is real.

A number of reports quote sources close to Robert Pattinson as saying that once Breaking Dawn 2 is out, the two Twilight stars will go their separate ways.
The one thing we do know is that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will walk the red carpet together at the November 16 Los Angeles Breaking Dawn world premiere.
