Twilight fans were delighted to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart walk the red carpet together for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 world premiere at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles which was streamed live last night, November 12, by Yahoo Movies on their website for Twi-hards worldwide to see.
But as pleased as Twi-hards were to see the two Twilight co-stars on the red carpet together for the final film in the Twilight Saga series, they were disappointed that Rob and Kristen did not share the promised “reconciliation kiss.”

Rob’s and Kristen’s Predicted Red Carpet Reconciliation Kiss
It was reported by Hollywood Hills, Hollywood Life and other celebrity gossip sites that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would share a romantic reconciliation on the red carpet at the world premiere for their fans.
Summit Entertainment reportedly came up with the idea and ran it by Kristen and Rob to see how they felt about this idea.
Rob was said to be 100% behind the idea of a red carpet reconciliation kiss.
But Kristen reportedly didn’t share Rob’s enthusiasm about the idea.
She had reservations about it, and felt embarrassed about kissing Rob on the red carpet just for show.
Maybe Kristen felt the kiss would be too closely scrutinized, and fans would know whether or not the kiss was for real.
But in the end, the Twilight stars reportedly agreed to share a red carpet kiss, provided Kristen didn’t chicken out.

Why Rob and Kristen Didn’t Share a Red Carpet Kiss
Since there was no red carpet kiss, we aren’t quite sure what to believe.
Did Kristen chicken out at the last minute?
Or was the whole thing just a rumor, after all?
We may never really know.
However, we do know that if Rob and Kristen had gone through with their red carpet reconciliation kiss, it would have been the first time the Twilight couple ever shared a kiss at a public event.
Maybe they plan to surprise their fans with a reconciliation kiss at one of their international red carpet appearances in England, Germany or Spain.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
