Twilight fans following the Robert Pattinson - Kristen Stewart reconciliation news felt their recent “back together” video and photos didn’t ring true because there were no visible signs of affection between Kristen and Rob. However, yesterday, October 18, PopSugar, released a series of photos that addressed these very concerns, showing Rob and Kristen kissing, embracing, laughing and seemingly enjoying themselves together by the pool of Kristen’ new home. The Daily Mail of October 18 stated that this display of affection was what everyone was waiting to see, saying:

It's the confirmation we've ALL been waiting for, especially you Twihards out there.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have finally confirmed they're back together properly... but not with a dry press statement, but rather...a kiss!

Too Many Coincidences to Fool Twilight Fans

But there were too many coincidences surrounding the sudden wave of romantic pictures to fool media-savvy Twilight fans. See Video Proves Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Reconciliation is Not Real and Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Weekend Sighting: Are We Being Duped Again?

They quickly caught on to the fact that the whole thing was probably yet another PR stunt, and were quick to point this out.

Coincidence #1

After several weeks of digging up every available scrap of information about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the media suddenly discovers that in August, one month after Kristen’s cheating scandal was exposed, she bought a house less than 2 miles away from Rob (Rob put his $6 million mansion on the market for sale, then withdrew it after having second thoughts.) How interesting that the media failed to discover the existence of Kristen's new house, yet they were able to find out about the Malibu house Kristen bought her mother a few years ago, and mistakenly reported that it was hers. If the new house Kristen bought in Rob’s neighborhood is a matter of public record, why did it go undiscovered until now?

How coincidental that, 2 days after Kristen’s house was suddenly discovered, pictures of it were posted all over the Internet, for the world to see. Then suddenly, a series of “Rob and Kristen togetherness pictures” appear, taken in this very same location. The pictures of Kristen’s place posted on the internet showed the exterior, the interior, the pool, terrace, patio, and other areas of her home where photos could be taken, so the paparazzi knew exactly where to go and how to set up their shots.

Coincidence #2

After getting called out because the body language in the Monday lunch pictures, and the raw footage on the unedited video show from Sunday night at Ye Rustic Inn make it very obvious that Rob and Kristen had not really reconciled, whoever was calling the shots behind the scenes realized that the PR game plan had to be revised. New “Rob and Kristen togetherness pictures” suddenly materialize staged to convince fans that Rob and Kristen are back together after all – the 4th set of pictures in less than a week. All of them portraying Rob and Kristen as a couple, after not seeing them together since they split 2 ½ months ago – and conveniently timed to coincide with the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn 2 promo tour. . Coincidence #3

In these new pictures, Rob and Kristen are alone - almost – except for the dogs, and another female who appears in the background.

Coincidence #5

Many Twilight fans asked about Bear – the dog Rob and Kristen adopted together. Reports shortly after the scandal broke said Rob and Kristen were fighting over custody of Bear. Twilight fans who are dog lovers repeatedly asked “What ever happened to Bear?”

Suddenly, in answer to their questions, Bear and another dog appear in the new series of “Rob and Kristen togetherness pictures.”

While many people were taken in by the new “Rob and Kristen togetherness pictures,” many Twilight fans were not fooled by this very sudden, very public “back together bit.”

Some fans were amused. Some were disappointed. Other Twilight fans were downright insulted.

Some Twilight fans who immediately saw through the ruse even predicted what would happen next.

Below, gathered from several celebrity gossip sites is a sample of that what some of these skeptical Twilight fans had to say.

Not buying this at all. This is a big show for everyone. Has his arm around another girl on Saturday, begrudgingly goes over to Kristen. Now this?? Obvious fail. It's laughable.

I HIGHLY DOUBT this is real. It screams PUBLICITY STUNT. I think the break up part is real and the getting back together part is completely FAKE!!!! It’s too convenient to be real.

For two people who hate to be in the public eye, this was a total photo op set up by them. They knew the whole time that pics were being taken. They are both so fake and phony, it's disgusting.

Their relationship was never this open. They always tried to hide it. This is so obvious -- too obvious.

Back together just in time for the new movie to come out. . . . I was talking about this with some friends that work in the entertainment industry and told them to watch, you will get chatter that they have been seen together in "meetings". Then you will get a "fan" that sees them together and then, about a month before the movie comes out, a picture will be taken conveniently when they are out with a group of people in a public place. Yep good job Summit! Such a set up by them to be photographed together. For two people who dated for three years and never even held hands, and now suddenly a person gets perfect pics of them standing in the same spot over and over again. Come on. They are both full of it.

They are not together. It’s a bunch of publicity lies again to fool the fans believing they are together.

This has all been one big publicity stunt. And within a month after release you will hear about them going their separate ways.

This is all BS. It's just PR for the movie. They probably got a big check to appear in public and to be civil to each other. After all they are 'actors', right? Gee, what are the odds that these two break up for good once the final movie in the ridiculous "Twilight" saga has opened. This is just for publicity's sake for the movie. I kind of hope they worked it out but have a feeling it is a show for the next movie.

That house is a private property in a private community. It's gated with security. How did the paparazzi get in?

I'm an inside source so I know what I'm talking about when I tell you this is all an act. They were PAID. The people in the background were there giving directions and keeping the peace. Strange how they were able to keep their relationship a secret all this time but now the papz has all this access to her home. Her supposedly very private locale house. He only tap kissed her and only touched outside the house.
