Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reportedly spent their New Year's in the beautiful Isle of Wight. On Dec. 30, The Stir reported that the "Twilight's" romance may have been taken to the next level this week. Did Rob have plans to propose to Kristen? Rumors suggest that the two got engaged -- perhaps at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve.
"What better time to make it official than on this romantic, private island in the English Channel? And how symbolic would it be to propose over New Year's -- a fresh start at the start of a fresh year?" Catherine Donaldson-Evans from "The Stir" suggests.
While a Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart engagement would make some Robsten fans so-super-happy, the likelihood of the couple getting engaged isn't very high. Both Rob and Kristen are still young and after being rocked by a cheating scandal earlier in 2012, the two are still repairing their relationship.
Whenever Rob and Kristen have been asked about getting married, they have almost always blown off the question, saying that they are each focused on their careers. Since they have dated for a couple of years, many seem to think that Rob is going to put a ring on it... but the truth is that they are just enjoying their time together and they aren't in any kind of rush to wed.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might end up getting engaged over the next year, but it probably didn't happen last night.
