Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have split again according to several reports. On Jan. 23, The Sun reported that the "Twilight" couple has ended their relationship after months of trying to make things work following a cheating scandal. Evidently Rob wanted to take a break, this according to a source.
"She flew to LA and was supposed to be Rob’s date for the Golden Globes, but he told her he wants to cool it off. He loves her but would rather go back to being good friends so they can rebuild their trust and focus on work after 'Twilight.' Kristen’s upset but understands. She shouldn’t have pushed him to reconcile after her infidelity. She’s hoping he’ll come round and time will be a great healer," a source revealed.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart managed to keep their relationship together while promoting "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" back in November but sources say that things fell apart just after the holidays. Friends close to Rob say that it wasn't easy for him to forgive Kristen after she cheated on him with "Snow White" director, Rupert Sanders. He tried his best to work it out but it appears as though he wants to take some time for himself now. Rob's friends have allegedly encouraged him to move on from her as well.
"He was getting so much pressure to ditch her. His friends told him to focus on his career and said she was wrecking his chances," the source continued.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could get back together but it seems as though Rob really wants to take some time away from her to figure things out.
